A boot style connector is called out in Section A, Sheet C04. Should a modular seal (e.g. Link Seal) be used in a submerged location?

Answer

As a result of the pipe entering the manhole at an angle, the boot style connector is appropriate for this project. Alternatives to the design documents for this component of the project can be discussed through an RFI during construction.
