CITY OF WEST LINN, OREGON

2023 Road Program (PW-23-02)

 

Sealed bids for the City of West Linn 2023 Road Program will be received at West Linn City Hall, 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, Oregon, 97068 until 2:00 PM, February 22, 2023. Bids received shall be publicly opened and read immediately following the closed bid period. Bids received after 2:00 PM on February 22, 2023 will not be considered. First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure forms shall be delivered to City Hall no later than 4:00 PM on the same day. Bids shall be clearly marked “2023 Road Program (PW-23-02)”. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days following bid opening. This project is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.

Project generally includes 2-inch mill and 2-inch overlay of 7 City streets throughout the City limits.  Approximately 7,500 TONS of asphalt cement pavement and an additional 2,000 TONS of asphalt cement pavement at 2 different City Park parking lots.  Project includes a quantity of thermoplastic striping. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $2,644,196.00.

The project plans, specifications and contract provisions may be reviewed at no cost through the City of West Linn’s website at http://bids.westlinnoregon.gov/ .  Prospective bidders much be registered with the City’s bid management website and be added to the plan holders list to access bid materials. All future addendums will be issued through the bid management system. Questions

The City shall consider no bid unless the bidder is registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor Board and the bidder has complied with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements. The City of West Linn reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to postpone the award for 90 days, to delete certain items from the proposal, and to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.

Questions for this RFP

The Bid opening will be held as outlined in the Advertisement for Bid which is February 22, 2023 at 2pm at City Hall. The typo in the ITB form has been corrected.
Stormwater work is compensated for under bid item #’s 4, 6, 27
Work hours are Mon –Fri, 7AM-7PM; Weekends and Holidays, 9AM-5PM. Lane closure will be per section 00220.40(e)(2) or as approved by City Representative.
